Medical progress!

Someone recently brought to my attention a site for something called the Gender Management Service (GeMS) Clinic at Children's Hospital Boston, the only hospital at which I have ever been an in-patient. Check it out. This is awesome!
Start with the designation of what the clinic deals with: Disorders of Sexual Differentiation (DSDs). Then notice what's included—not just the variety intersex conditions and chromosomal anomalies, but also transgender issues. They have a transgender clinic in which they care for trans children and young adults!
