Title: Do you LOVE pregnant women?

Why yes... I am bouncing around a bit today... I had a LARGE coffee LOL...
Mickie posted in another thread that she really likes pregnant women.... OMG me too...
it's something about them (yes I'm sure I want to BE them) that just
radiates from their sole.
I just want to touch them... not in a sexual way... just to be apart.
It's so awesome, so magical.
Anyone else?

LOL, they are sooo beautiful. Their hair gets thicker, their skin turns to silk and glitters in the sun, nails get longer. I think a pregnant woman is the most beautiful creature in the world. How could you not love them. That belly sticking out, waddling around....they look so cute.

They make me sad :(
Reminders of what I can never be, AND reminders of what I stole from my wife.
But yes, I certainly appreciate the magic and beauty of it all.
Weird thing is I've always been able to tell if a girl was pregnant, lol. I mean before THEY knew. They get this... *look* somehow. Babydar I guess, lol...

Yes I feel the same way as its love in full circle (dont know if this makes sense, in my case too many Red Bulls...)
But It also makes me sad at the same time as I and (we) know that will never be possible with us. Nice post Amanda.... :)

I have to echo Kate.
And even though I'm not married yet, I get the same feeling that I'm preventing my girlfriend from ever becoming a mother because I don't want to be a father.

I never really felt anything before when I saw pregnant women, but there is a certain sadness in it to me, if I can be just completely self-indulgent here ;D
It kind of saddens me that they are experiencing the joy of motherhood, which I really want to have but never will.
And Laci,
OMG!!! I can't believe you said that! She's doesn't have a pot belly! Mackenzie has a beautiful girl body, shush.

As long as I'm not to blame, they are fine.

I thought that too... there was no way I could do it... be a father... and then you hold that baby... and you are
no longer a father or a mother... you are part of it. I would not trade that feeling for anything... it's magical...
I guarantee it.

Tekla... you are a riot... I spewed water all over my monitor.

Oh yea... that counts... big time... bellies are hawt.... pot... flat... I think that whole area is the sexiest
area on a woman.

LOL
As long as one isn't ridiculously famous or wealthy, you don't have to worry about people who you didn't sleep with coming after you with paternity suits. :P

Not even to be Amanda? If it came down to that choice? Parenthood OR life as Amanda?
I kinda made that choice. And it just sucks. And I'm guessing that my odds of adopting as a (probably single eventually) 43 year old M2F transsexual aren't exactly much to bet on.
I hate to admit it, but I look at pregnant women much as people here report they look at sexy women: with an almost bitter jealousy and resentment. It's actually difficult for me to be happy for them, being so self-absorbed in my own "it's just not fair!" inner whining. I chose transitioning over being a parent, and it just infuriates me that I DID have to make that choice.

yes, i think pregnant women are terribly special.
they do not make me sad at all
but still, they are somehow painfully beautiful to look at
i think i love their personalities much better, too, when they are pregnant

I'm not sure but I don't think so, not even to be Amanda... knowing what I know now... I would still choose the baby. It's
that wonderful. Of course I'd like to be the one to carry the baby... I'd like to be the one to do all that baby stuff. I would
have gladly traded places with my wife. I even asked about a year ago if we could have another... she said she could not
do it and I accepted that.
I know how you must feel Kate... I really think I do... but once you've tasted it and looked into that tiny face and hugged that
tiny body and smelled that baby smell of YOUR child... you just have no idea. And it makes me sad for you that you won't. But it's also
easy for me to sit here and say what I would have done. And it's possible and maybe probable that I would have made the same
choice as you. I don't know. Amanda is a pretty powerful voice these days... she won't be denied.. and had she been like
that when I made my choice... she may have had her way :)

my environmental science teacher was pregnant when she taught us and taught at 2 other colleges. Then she had the baby AND THEN CAME IN THE NEXT DAY.
WTF talk about a trooper. That woman is dedicated. We were all telling her to GO HOME too, haha. She said she couldn't afford to rest.
But no I don't feel a special way for pregnant women, but I do feel a special way about pregnancy and being pregnant in general.

I raised two girls one since she was 6 mos old and the other at 4. They are now 13 and 9. My son is 3 and I can tell you there is a difference with your own baby. I'm torn with guilt though Amanda about transitioning. I feel bad for my son. I guess this should be a new thread...

Please be absolutely honest with her, and encourage her the freedom to make her own choice ....

i thought since i finally found this thread and was kind of the inspiration (wipes tear from her eye), yes i do love prego women, except for the morning sickness of course, poor woman of mine pretty much has all day sickness. there are days when she wishes i would have carried our past children and the one on the way, and she has always known that if i could i would. when i was growing up and i would tell everyone i wasn't having kids, pretty much because of the way i was treated while a child. to my dismay, we are the children (wife and i) on both sides of the immediate family to have children. after i met my wife, i knew she was the one i wanted to have kids with and they had to be mine, no matter how they got here. but that didn't mean i wasn't jealous of her everyday she carried each one of our children and the special bond that they form in the womb. some days my wife thinks i'm stealing our son away from her because i'm the one who stays home and takes care of him, since my daughter is 6, i don't really feel i can get that kind of bond with her, but with our next one, at the moment i'm planning to stay home and take of her(?). it really made me and my father-in-law mad because when my daughter was young she always refused to eat till mom got home from school, at least my son wasn't that way,now sometimes i wish he wouldn't eat so much. she's so excited with this one and i've told her it was going to be our last even though i wanted my three girls, she miscarried the last time,so when we got fertility meds to make this one happen, i didn't want to chance it again.i understand to a certain degree what a miscarriage does to a woman, even just one. i have a friend who i talk to on yahoo who has been prego at least two or three times in her tubes and miscarried a number of times too. i so feel for the pain the poor woman is going through. it makes me cry just thinking about it.....
all in all, beautiful prego woman..... ;D ;D ;D
