California didn't implode and fall into the sea this week, but the state supreme court ruling there that upended a ballot measure defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman sent shock waves across the nation.
At the Pikes Peak Gay & Lesbian Community Center Friday, there was no confetti. But Ryan Acker, executive director at the so-called Pride Center, said "We're pretty excited to see the judicial system is working as it should."
