"Gender neutral housing is a relatively new trend in campus dorms and perhaps the most likely to raise parental eyebrows since single-sex dorms went coed in the 1970s. About 30 colleges and universities nationwide now offer some variation of gender neutral housing, including Wesleyan University and Clark University in Worcester."
