I just made my first appointment to see a therapist at the University of Minnesota's Sexual Health Clinic. Unfortunately it's not until July. *sigh* Does anyone have experience with this program? Is it worth the wait? Does anyone have any other recommendations in the Minneapolis St. Paul area?
I chose them because they were listed in the MN Trans Health Coalition's provider directory and they said they had on-site physicians for hormones. Also, I hope to be going back to school at the U of MN starting next spring, so it would be convenient then. But then again, I don't think I'll be ready for hormones for about a year, so it probably isn't necessary to have the doctors standing by this early in the game.
Thoughts? Experiences? Anyone?
