Title: Confirmation of what they already knew
Post by: Robin_p on June 06, 2008, 02:53:29 PM
Across the street from my apartment is a small service based business with three employees. I can look right into the owner's office from my 2nd story apartment. I used to play racquetball with the owner and we have shared divorce drama stories together.

I never came out formally or anything to them I would just pop in and out to chat. I always had a feeling that they were wondering about me for the last few months. They been acting wierd for awhile and i swear i would see the blinds move when i walked to my car. Giggles

On tuesday i let the owner know i was Transgendered. That turned into an 90 minute conversation. I found out the Mail-man is a big GOSSIP. I endured the endless questions and the remarks about them people on day time tv.

Anyway, he had to call his brother to let him know. that got real interesting(fill in the drama)I hung up on the brother when he ask to see my boobs.

I have not been over there since then but, i do look up at there window and wonder did the blinds really move.....

They are obviously more concerned about you than you are them, Robin. Yeech!!

Yes, I can only imagine the rude and stoopid ways the brother went about 'asking.' Some people seem to often think that TSes are ALL on the Springer Show or Maury Povich!! Consequently their expectation is that you will want to act a fool about it.

I'd say you're well shed of them.

Very Interesting Robyn!

I guess I'll find out how it feels to confirm what others suspect.  I found out that my ex has been telling everyone at my job about me, but I think that most of them just figure its going to be a messy divorce.  I think she is trying to push me over the edge to go back to being male, but it is backfiring on her.  I told my boss today about me and what I'm going thru.
He only asked the sweetest thing.  "Is this going to changes us being friends?" :icon_cry: '..blush..'.  I said no of course.  I also told him that I was going to put together  a transition packet for upper management.

Thank You Steph, I will use the sample in the WIKI that you showed us in another thread.  Now I have to tell the other guys I work with on a daily basis.  One only might be a problem.  Its a Hispanic Macho thing with him.

So it looks like I will be starting Full Time soon after I work things out with the company.

I shall keep all of you posted as to my progress.

Wish me luck,

Ready to lose EVERYTHING to transition.

Love to all,
Janet
