I am at a loss to understand how SB200 allows men to freely lurk in women's restrooms, as alleged by several letter writers. I have read SB200 in its entirety and it is not in there.

SB200 simply adds another status (sexual orientation) to the Colorado Civil Rights statute that has been in place for at least 30 to 40 years. For all those years, there have been prohibitions against discrimination in places of public accommodations because of sex. To my knowledge, this has never been used successfully as a defense for a male rapist, peeping tom or sexual predator.

i'll say it again as i am sure everyone else will as well, MEN do not hide in the ladies room. if this was the case don't you think women would hide in the men's room? they can be just as violent as men and are not incapable of any murderous crime either.

Colorado has one of the nations most liberal gun carry laws.  Almost anyone can get a permit.  Somehow I doubt that its going to become lurker nation or anything.
