Title: Strange feeling or my 'lady' story
Post by: J on June 19, 2008, 05:42:52 AM
Dear folks!

I wanna thank you all cordially for this wonderful web-page! I came across your forum a couple of days ago and it helped me to come out firstly to myself! Sorry for being awkward with words, it's just I'm overwhelmed with emotions..  It feel so good finally having come to terms with my real gender after all these years of confusion!

I will say a few words about myself and your comments would be very appreciated as we're all sort of in the same 'mess'  ;)

Well, I was born a female, but have never felt a real female, although I love applying make-up and more or less female or mixed way of dressing (but now never skirts, unless combined with jeans)..But like Nero stated (I guess it was Nero) girls always see an 'outsider, a 'wolf in the sheepskin'. I've always been surrounded by girls as friends but in my childhood and teenage years sometimes got patted on the cheek, smiled at and called 'a boy'  :o and it was so weird because I wasn't a tomboy, just have always acted out a girl. It feels like I'm a gay fairy inside a female body which seems strange to the real boy inside (breasts and so on) but I love my female appearance - you can put on make up, dress it up..  >:D Has anyone of you heard of people having these feelings like moi? By the way, hard as I try I never get close to the female way of gesturing and behaving - it's somehow overgestured and sooo exaggerated. And when I get confused I immediately feel myself a fairy. I desperately needed to know what I am - not a complete female (just like an actor playing a female part) and not a male (can't think of having hairy legs and other 'macho' features, uugh  :-\) And in the presence of men, who just find me weird sometimes - they try to treat me like other women, but I feel so self conscious and mess it all up  :o And by the way I've always listened to queer music and love 'rainbow' culture

So, I found your web site, read your forum and now thanks to all of you, dear folks, I'm proud to come out as a third gender (I preferred to call it this way). I share some characteristics with other androgynes - those fluctuations of mood - sometimes I feel more female, sometimes more masculine, sometimes more gaily playful, but finally I can be myself. I've been myself since Monday among my workmates and got a comment that I'm strange - but no, I'm finally myself, stopped mimicking girls around - I'll never be a girl so no more a wolf in the sheepskin, let them look at me in a strange way and smile - I don't care. I'm out and proud, third gender and makeup!!!!

Peace to you all!!! And who can tell me if we have our pride flag and if we belong in the rainbow community?

Warmest hugs to all,

J

Wellcome to the forums....

I can certainly see where you're coming from... i mean, if you like it, why not? and if it makes you happy thats all that really matters isnt it?
But i would be a tad careful with the 'yay pride' sentiments, you can set some people on this board off that dont consider trans something prideworthy :P

Morning J,
Yeah, it was probably me who said that. I always felt similar to what you describe 'an actor playing a female part', also.
Good to see some new blood here. I'm afraid you're a little late for the party, though. The sun no longer shines here.
Welcome to the forest, anyhow.

Am I making bad topics? I'm only trying to help bring in the sunlight. I guess I'll quit making topics.

Oh no dear. You're fine. Your topics are good. You're new. How can you miss the sun when you've never seen its rays.

Don't dare quit making new topics, je. You're doing great!!

Sometimes people get depressed about things not on the board, or people not on the board, and that bleeds over into their reactions to small and innocuous statements. Those times have nothing to do with you and your topics, je. Just read 'em and go on. You have added a lot to the board in a short time. Please keep it up. :)

Sometimes when we're depressed it seems like the sun doesn't shine. But, it's definitely shining for and on you, luv. :icon_hug:

Je, please keep posting!!! Your topics are absolutely fine!

To offer perspective, shortly before you arrived, there were some thunderstorms here in the androgyne forum. Sorry to say I'm likely guilty of a few lightning strikes myself. I think the clouds are lifting though.

Welcome J. It is a good feeling when you finally figure out what is going on inside you. And as others have said there have been some.... interesting..... threads here lately; you didn't post anything wrong

Welcome, J, and congratulations for your new-found gender!

(I guess I'm naive, but I didn't realise the sun had disappeared. But then of course, I prefer not to have too much sunlight; it's nice to have a good shower every now and then.)

Well, thanks to all for replying and welcoming me :) I really didn't intend to hurn anyone's feelings.. But to my mind we should accept ourselves the way we are and be proud to be us - if we won't do it then who will? We were born that way, just 'different'. Of course it would be ideal to be like the hetero cisgendered majority - leading a 'normal' life, being accepted by the society and so on. But we just don't choose - we are what we are. I've got some friends who are also 'different'. One of them is a pre-op MTF transsexual, who's suffering a lot from not being accepted by the society and taking some herbal hormones without any prescription. And another friend-workmate came out to me as a secretly bisexual, doubting if she's not also a TS. I realise that some of us are in the conditions not to be joked about, but I still think we must try to celebrate ourselves and be more optimistic (maybe it's again a fairy speaking inside me - always happy  :-*)

And I know I'll never want to hurt my parents and some friends talking about these things - they are soooo straight inside and outside.

Hoping the forum will blossom again, we gotta be together, that gives us a feeling of belonging somewhere. And being a proud third gender is not that bad - we're more fashion conscious and artistic, have both male and female outlooks, more creative, mysterious in a way and certainly more understanding, accepting and compassionate.

Nero, I shake your hand, we're 'sisters' then, huh?  ;)

With best best wishes to all,

I don't think there is anything 'Majority' about our Nero. One of a kind that one.  ;)

Hi, Jaimey, dear!!!! You made my day!!!  :D (Singing loudly: Leeet the Sunshine in!!!!!!!)  :police: >:D Today I had a great day at work - the relations with other people seem to be improving since I no longer pretend to be someone else!!! And you know what? My female friends and co-workers ask me for make-up tips and praise my way of dressing!!!! And 2 co-workers presented me with fashion clothes - they say it's very much my style! I feel such a happy poof, they even started copying my style!  ;D

I just want to hug (although virtually  :D) you all, TG folks, and send you a strong positive charge and my very best wishes!!!

And yes, Zythyra, thanks for congratulating me on my new found gender!!! Let the rest of the world say it's just a confusion, but WE KNOW THAT IT'S REAL!!! Our crazy gender-bender  >:D exists and now I can say that it's really important to find out what and who you are .. search and find

Peace and love to all,

Ei, that's not funny to me! Although I appreciate your wisdom, we don't have to go to the extremes! One gotta be true to oneself and think for oneself! (Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but it contradicts my the glass-is-half-full outlook).

Hi J.

That video's just sort of the joke of this board. Meant nothing by it. Was just demonstrating Z's reference to it. My apologies, I'm really messing up in this thread.

I always kind of liked it, its sick, and that works for me, but I love Lisa Lampanelli, Chelsea Handler and think Sarah Silverman is a goddess.

I thought the vid was very Sarah Silverman, just sugar sweet up to the punchline which was very sick.
