Title: 14 day t cycle question (...cramps)
Post by: Kevin on July 02, 2008, 09:03:00 AM
I've only been on T for about two months, but in the few days before my shots I'm getting period-type cramps/feelings. Is this semi-normal? And is it a sign I need to talk to my doc about moving my shot to something that's less spaced out then 14 days? I would assume it is, especially since I think there might be other signs of it needing moved but I kind of have been overlooking them and riding it out. I'm actually doing my shot a day early today because of cramps.

Everyone varies on how long T takes to shut down the dreaded monthlies. Mine took 8 months to shut down completely, others shut down much faster. A lot of guys are on the 7 day cycle, myself included. It does keep things a bit steadier if you can handle getting poked in the butt (or spot of choice) every week.

After only two months on T though, you may just be experiencing the normal battle of the hormones and it might not be related to time between shots.
