Despite scoring 883 in the higher secondary examination in 2004, economical circumstances prevented my parents from paying fee for the teachers training course.
The same year I became a transsexual and named myself Divya. Not willing to discard the name Krishnan that my parents fondly called me by, I made it my second name, said Divya.
