Meh, I wasn't sure where to post this...
Can anyone recommend a good GID therapist in South Florida? My regular therapist wants me to start seeing one. She's going to help me look, but if someone already knows a good one that'd be a great help.
Thanks

There are some on this list.

I don't know what part of south florida you are in. I know someone in Ft. Myers who visited one not too far from there. If that is your area, I can ask for that info.

Do you work with a medical provider like Kaiser or Sharp?
Working with Kaiser has been a pain in the ass for me, but one thing that's good about them is that it's very easy to find the doctor you need.
Good luck finding someone. I hope things work out for you.

Well my mom works for an insurance company, so she can look up GIDs in her system. Only thing is 1) I haven't come out to her yet and 2) when I do, I think it's burden enough realizing I'm a guy without making her look for a new therapist for me too.
Thanks to both of you. I'll be forwarding names to my therapist to see who she recommends.
