Pride 2008 has been hailed as one of the best.
Today Josh Mills, chairman of Pride in Brighton and Hove, explains why we should all bask in the success of the event and be proud it is held in our city.
Don't rain on my parade, Barbara Streisand famously sang.
A lot of drizzle didn't dampen the atmosphere for the Pride parade through the streets because the number of those watching seemed to be much more than before.
