Title: Deep Stealth offering Workbook: Finding your Female Voice for free

The very popular program that leads you to develop a female voice now offers their Workbook for free at http://www.deepstealth.com/freebook/. I printed me off a copy and are trying several of the lessons. I am sure the dvd/video help explain it more, but the book is free. Free stuff is good, lol. Especially something as important as this.
I put this in the general TG forum since it seemed great for any kind of MtF TG; TS, CD, in between, or whoever wants to develop a feminine voice.
PS also funny little video intro at the bottom.

Yawn. I already bought it a while ago and I believe it helped to a certain degree, but not all that much.

I downloaded this thing; I think it is fantastic. Have done only the most perfunctory work-throughs and it has made a significant diff in a matter of days.
It does tend to require a musical mode of thought; the 'for the tone-deaf' section notwithstanding.

Aaaaaaaaah Melissa... not everyone is fortunate to have been blessed with a vocal range as yours, and while this may be a case of "Been there, done that, got the tee shirt." for you, I think that since this is a "free" download, why not take advantage of it and see if it helps!

Kendra,
I'm sure it will be helpful to most of us girls.
I download a copy for myself.
Thanks,
:)

Yeah, that's true. Anything helps. Sorry, I was in a funk earlier today since I didn't have access to my car and was worried it had been towed. It's fine now though.

This is bugging me. I was not "blessed" with a good vocal range. It took a lot of hard work and working with a good speech therapist (not free through insurance) to develop my voice. I have read a lot of information (including this booklet) and practiced many hours. As a result, I have slowly feminized my voice more and more. It didn't just happen overnight. I still think it's far from perfect, but it was a weak spot for a long time and that just motivated me to work harder at it. I started with a fairly low voice (I sang bass in choir), so a lot of work was necessary. Don't act like it was a gift handed over to me.

Has anyone purchased the deepstealth dvd's and are they worth the expense or can you get enought information from the free book by itself.

Thanks, I will pass this on to a few people who I know. Shame that it was not around when I first transitioned, could have ironed out a few bumps.

Kendra, thanks for the download. I'll prob download it and take a look.
I wasn't 'blessed' with a certain voice either, Melissa, but my voice is naturally somewhat higher than the average male voice. (I sing what I call bari-ten) I just try to be myself.
Myself happens to be someone with a female brain with female ways of thinking, female emotions and responses, and and these seem to make my speech more female in character. I dunno.....maybe I'm a little different (yah....well!) but I don't especially want to be someone else, or sound like someone else. I'm still trying this all on as kinda new, and taking it a day at a time.
I can tell you I make some mountainous boo boos sometimes, but they are good teaching lessons. Like, when a clerk drops change, don't deftly snatch it from the air before his eyes like a first baseman catching an easy toss. Or like the other night at the restuarant......"pssst.....honey! What??......stop scratching....." Okay, it was just a little scritch, but ya don't scratch your boobs in public....Jeez....how embarassing! I didn't even think about it....not right away.
Still learning.

Thanks for the link Kendra, it looks like a good resource. I don't have any desire to sing in a different register than my natural baritone, but being able to speak convincingly would be useful sometimes.
