Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hey everyone,

Call me Charlie.  I heard about this website from a woman I met at a support group and it appears to be fun, friendly, and useful.  I've been out as an FTM for a year but have known of my desire to have a male body all my life - or at least until the age of three, as I don't remember anything that happened before that.  :P

Um, I've got the basic trans sad story down.  Didn't wear dresses or make up, when I did I felt like I was being shoved into a spot light against my will, got somewhat outcast by my peers for being a weird girl and could never find love I wanted.  Of course, through all of this I was attracted to guys so I was at a loss for what I was experiencing, since the only other "masculine females" I knew were all lesbians.

Anyway, finally came out to my family and friends and I actually received very few bad reactions.  I'm starting T at the end of the month and top surgery will come as soon as I decide on a doctor and can actually schedule the operation.  I've lead a good life so far and shall hopefully be able to continue it in terms of acceptance and understanding.

So there's my condensed life story.  If you want to know anymore just ask.  Looking forward to meeting you all.
