According to at least one political analyst, Barack Obama has gone
farther in supporting the homosexual agenda than any other
presidential candidate in history.

the religious right wing voters and the Republicans. ALL people should be treated fairly. i'm a lesbian but the government still wants 1/3 of my paycheck. guess what, if i've got the "privilege" of paying the government, i should have the "privilege" to not be discriminated against for ANY reason but a LOGICAL one. basically, this dicrimination is the governments form of cooties!!!
oh, you're trans and a lesbian, you've got cooties, you can't work, live, play here etc. oh but you're paying your taxes right? ::)

More likely with Obama and a dem Congress then the other way around. Still, I would not hold my breath, real change happens on a local level long before it goes national.

yup... it's going to take a couple generations more. Hopefully by then we will have solved some of the other problems our society has but refuses to reconize by then too. Or there may not be a fourth generation.

So, what exactly would be the problem with passing lesbian and trans civil rights within the next four years?
I mean, LaBarbera could exit the closet and quit going to those dungeon scenes surreptitiously, right? :)

I'm afraid they will have much more pressing problems to deal with, like a government that has been pretty much gutted of its ability to function, and stats like these.
