As he and three other long-serving Napier officers received New
Zealand Customs Service Medals at a function at the War Memorial
Conference Centre yesterday, Mr Voisey reflected on the days when he
was stationed in Wellington and looking after the airport beat. It was a time when there was plenty of Trans-Tasman travel by the city's transvestite population.
