Well, I am just starting up electro again to get rid of the remaining stubborn patches so we'll see if I start to break out again, but when I first started about a year and a half ago I remember I would usually break out within the first couple of days after the electro appointment. It would go away after 1 or 2 days but was really annoying. I hope it doesn't do it this time as I'm on hormones now and I heard you break out less on HRT.

even if they are stress induced, i have somewhat oily skin and keep my face washed, but i have tons of stress i deal with, as i don't really eat a lot of junk food to cause them

Hi Mickie

I have always suffered from acne to a greater or lesser degree.
I have concluded that I must still have a hormone imbalance that
triggers it.

I decided recently to try taking low levels of OTC soy isoflavanes
to see if there was any effect. 2 weeks-in, reslults look promising
as I have never seen my skin so clear, I just hope it is not a fluke.

OK.. isoflavanes can be considered similar to HRT, but the way
they work and effective strength is very different.

I know this is not a direct answer to your question, but it may help
if you need a short term solution to try and control an acne problem
for electrolysis.

...Oh...and I'm a tea drinker too....
