Two years ago, the governor of Kentucky retracted an executive order
prohibiting discrimination against state employees on the basis of
sexual orientation and gender identity. Of particular note when I
blogged about it at the time was the governor's contention that he was retracting protections for gay employees because it was too difficult to provide protections for transgender employees.

well yay Kentucky, that's one more closer to mine...hope our governor soon realizes that everybody on the state needs these protections not just people working for them. sad when a "hillbilly/redneck" state does this before a backwards state like Ohio. no offense to anyone from Kentucky.
