Actions speak louder

The University should be commended for a recent revision of its
harassment and discrimination policy. The policy now includes
restriction of discrimination based on gender identity or gender
expression.
North Carolina currently has no laws protecting sexual minorities from
discrimination. UNC's policy revision takes a progressive step in
highlighting the University's attempt to create a learning environment
that is inclusive of all students.
