(UPDATE: HRC and Stonewall Dems respond to the endorsement below the fold. Also, the myth of Palin's benign stance on LGBT rights is blown away by the release of Alaska Eagle Forum questionnaire that shows her very clear opposition to LGBT rights.)

No surprise. What's sad is that the Log Cabin Republicans have failed to move the national party in any significant way toward inclusion. In fact, with the release of its approved platform, the homo-hate is so specifically placed alongside the calls for individual freedom and limited government that it is a spit in the eye of LGBTs.

Log cabin people aren't too bright. even if they believe in a conservative platform, you'd think they'd have the fortitude to join or start another party.  I know there's a niche for a true conservative party that doesn't get in people's faces over morality and such.
