These are some pictures we took before my first outing as a girl. I pretty much let her handle my looks because I figured she would know a lot more of what she's doing than I would ;p  We decided to go out and run some errands during the busiest part of the day. Walmart was definitely really scary for me because I'm such a shy and self-conscious person. I thought for sure I would be outed but out of the probably 100+ people I don't think I really caught more than maybe one weird look or second glance, which really surprised me. I don't think I would have ever gone out if I wasn't pushed through it, heh.

This is one taken almost two years ago done by myself, no makeup and that is a wig

Anyways, comments, tips, whatever is welcome. I'm still just struggling to figure things out. Sometimes I just don't understand why it is so hard for me to know what I actually want.

You are probably right. My girlfriend always says she loves my smile...I just have never been a fan of it I guess. Something I should work on I suppose.

I agree. The second picture where you are smiling makes you look a lot better. You have a great smile and I would use it to your advantage. I always had the same problem as well. I try to smile more often now, mostly 'cause I'm usually happy though, lol.

Definitely agree with the smiling thing.  You're a pretty girl!!

I am working on growing my hair out, but long hairstyles for guys can be rough. I am kind of settling on medium length right now because I really like how I look as a guy like that. I really like my hair deep black though (it's dyed) because I think it kind of brings out my eyes, which I consider to be one of my best features as they are so unique. I think you are right though and the long hair works better for me as a female.

One thing, your chest packing looks very much like large pecs. Round them out more, boobs are round! Haha.

Very good looking.  Your friend did a good job with the clothes, but you look really nice in the red shirt as well.  From these pics, I don't see anything wrong with your nose though; it looks kinda model-like and goes well with your full lips. 

Ditto.  You look really really good.  And again remember to smile and be happy and proud of who you are.

I have never heard of the term bigender before, so I only have my guesses as to that. Right now I would have to classify myself as a male trying to figure out what I want. It is only recently I have gone out as a female. Thanks though =)

That's probably the nicest thing anyone has said about my nose, haha. I actually broke it when I was about 12. I had one surgery already when I was 16 or so that was covered by insurance because it got to the point that I flat out couldn't breathe. I was not happy with the cosmetic results although at least I could breathe.

Have you been taking hormones before that photoshoot? Is it okay to ask?

Yeah, it is fine to ask. But I was not really on hormones for either (about a week in the first ones), and the one in a wig definitely not haha. I am at about 1.5 months now on HRT. Still not huge differences but there are certainly some. I doubt I would feel comfortable swimming in a public pool anymore.

I remember a born-female from Germany who is prolly your twin sister....alas, she was about 15 in 1960, and I imagine you are much younger.

I see you as female in every aspect...no second guesses or quizzical looks.

Thanks again for all the kind words =) I have started feeling a lot less self-conscious lately. I even wore some makeup in front of my roommates, heh.

Actually, and I mean this with the utmost respect, but;
- you look hot as a guy, like the kind I'd date (you shop at Hollister, I work there)
- and you look hot as a girl, like the kind I'd go boy-hunting and shopping at said Hollister with!

... it's crazy... I love it!

But for real, you look hot, both ways and I'm a totally straight trans-chick...or whatever  :P

Aside from the brow & chin structure, you not only look female, but young and lovely as well.  Even those two areas are within female norms, from what I can see in a portrait shot.  If this is pre-HRT, you're going to do really well.

Yeah, I broke it as a kid and it never healed properly. I have had one surgery, but it was purely just to fix my nasal passageways so I could still breathe. Usually it is not too noticeable though, just from certain angles.

The one thing I wanted to mention was that you were very practical, and classy. That seems to work for you.
At the base you are attractive, and now as long as you keep what Audrey said in mind," Being confident." I think you have it.

You do look really great! Smiling is always a good thing.. I don't wouldn't have to second guess you at all ^-^.

FL, you look very good and pretty young as well. I cannot imagine you have a problem except from those who know of the change. On the street, I don't think I'd look twice depending on how you acted otherwise.

Try to relax. I imagine you do just wonderfully well.

You look incredible. Either your makeup is excellent, or you have an unreasonably good complection. I like the aloof supermodel pout in pic 3. :P I have no idea what you mean about your nose. It looks beautiful, at least from the angles you're showing here. But Abercrombie? C'mon, don't be a sheep! (Just teasing -- it works well with your look, as much as it's totally not my style.) Oh, yeah, cute necklace too. :)

For some reason big box stores freak me out too. Why is that?! Weird.

Thanks again to everyone. Small update today, my hair was getting a tad overgrown so I went to a highly recommended salon and just asked for a distinctly girly cut.

That is my natural eye color, which has kind of always made me wonder about things as it is so rare. I do love the way they look though. It always gave girls a really easy opener on me  :)
