The self-described "pro-family" groups that seek to eliminate committed gay and lesbian couples' access to marriage -- and eliminate their families' access to federal marriage rights if and when DOMA is overturned or amended -- by passing Prop 8 encountered a tough new public face to contend with today as the No side unveiled the proposition's first official ad of the campaign season. It features Samuel and Julia Thuron, a married couple of 46 years with three adult children. One of their children, a lesbian, could see her marriage rights taken away if Prop 8 passes.
