Susan's Place Transgender Resources

I have been on HRT for several months after finally fully accepting myself as the woman I have always been. I am quite passable and I decided to go out in public and see how I would feel presenting as a woman as I want to go full time soon. Electroylsis is going well and I should be completely passable when it is completed. After a full body wax and a beautiful manicure and pedicure, the make up woman in my spa shaped my eyebrows, did a fantastic makeover and styled my wig. I dressed in a casual skirt and halter top (I have small attachable breast forms) and walked out the door. The feeling was wonderful!! I went to a coffee shop and proceed to read the paper. Everyone called  me miss; I felt relaxed and feminine. The next day I wore my size 7 designer jeans and went to the mall with my partner a preop TS. Only one person took a second look and we thoroughly enjoyed a girl day at the mall before going home for a sensual evening. The experience was wonderful and I will proceed with my legal name change and go full time. I can't tell you how good it felt mentally to be female in public. When I get the vagina I should have had at birth I will be complete.

Hi  Pamshaw, welcome to Susan's. it is wonderful to hear how one of our sisters is progressing so wonderfully with their transitioning. I Pray that your transition continues to progress as well for the balance of it. It is possible, I have went through mine with relatively few hardships.

My first time out was in my mid-teens (1960's) to a straight club and I was scared sh##less! I figured I was dead meat if anybody figured it out - instead guys were all chatty and chivalrous  ::) I got over my nervousness pretty quickly  ;D

That is a very inspiring post and it makes me feel so happy for you... good for you Pam. I remember my first outing now too long ago
and how good it felt. Thanks for giving us that taste... it made my day :)

Hi again Amanda hon, well I don't watch TV and there is only so much house work to do in a day so I get on the web and visit several different boards doing the same on all of them, teaching supporting, or just general chit chat with some other ladies on the other message boards. I guess I'm pretty well an all over the place busy body. I would have to be awful sick if I am not active doing something. Again have a wonderful day and hope to see you around.

I'm quite jealous right now.  I'm still at the point where I can only dream of days like yours.  It must be nice to taste living full time like that.

Thanks girls for all your input. I was not bragging about my size 7 jeans. I have always been small and as you know men are very size conscious. I have been looked down at all my life because of my small femine stature. When I was a freshman in high school I was picked on and called a girl (little did they know how right they were). As a woman who is 5' 7"  140 pounds, I feel right sized and when I was out the other I did not have any more feeling of size inadequacy; I was simply a nice sized woman and had no longer felt badly. I  just loved being the woman I am.
