Kathleen O'Brien has poured thousands of dollars into the local
economy.
The Middletown resident has spent about $12,000 to have rhinoplasty
and breast implant surgery as well as an estimated $750 for purses,
$400 on makeup, $1,500 on wigs and $1,300 on personal protection
devices.
O'Brien is a transgender female.
