Dear Peter;

   Constitutional amendments restricting human rights are not traditional values in countries except for those akin to Vichy France, post 1932 election Germany, Peron's Argentina, Pinochet's Chile, Franco's Spain, and de Valera's Ireland.

You have not been keeping good company lately Peter. Any campaign to restrict human rights, particularly, as in California, an existing right, puts you in company with Ronald Feisler, Pierre Laval, Phillipe Petain, Francisco Franco, Archbishop John McQuaid, Eamonn de Valera and Sean T O'Kelly, Auguste Pinochet, Wilhelm Stuckart as well as others who tried to create "moral, Christian and pure" nations.
