Lol, I've thought about this very thing more often than I care to remember, and read as much literature on this theme as I can get my hands on. But it always leads me to one question... if this were possible, as well as switching your body with someone else, would you have to give up your whole life as well and live the other person's life? Like, you'd be part of someone else's family, have someone else's friends, do their job... is that actually psychologically possible, assuming the original body switch is?

Holly smokes I remember when I was about 9 or 10 years old looking at the pictures of girls in magazines and thinking how wonderful it would be if they could transplant a person's brain into another person's body.

Wow go to sleep and wake up the next day being this gorgeous looking chick. Then I would wonder, OK now that I have this wonderful beautiful new body, how would I break the news to everyone else I knew. Sound familiar?

I think many of us undergo this very transformation when we undergo SRS, a new body and certainly many of the psychological perceptions on the mind also changed. As close anyway as we can come to brain transplant. I don't think of myself as ugly, maybe I am fortunate to have gotten the results I have for my age.

There have been countless movies made about switching bodies.  The Best was the one with Rob Schinder in "Hot Chick",  were he wakes up in Anna Faris' body.  The look on his face as Anna Faris realized she is in a male body is priceless.

Yea that's the glitch right there, what about the poor sucker who's stuck with your body, unless that body happened to be that of some handsome hunk and the swap is only for a limited time, she could have lots of fun with that body, just like the the one who got her body. Maybe they could get married together and live happily for ever after. ;D

Well I find I'm far more attractive as a male than I ever was as a female.  I guess I'll keep my body and its lack of proper anatomy.  I doubt you'd want a 47 yr old body for a 27 yr old one.  :D

I think we've all had this fantasy. If only we could trade! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad every day that I can live and blend as the woman that I am. But still sometimes, I'll see some gloriously small-boned gal and think, that shooda been meeeeee! I cooda been a contenda!  :laugh:

I just LOVE "The Hot Chick", Janet. I found it totally by accident one night when I was channel flipping. I was simply rolling with laughter because I was thinking, that was my life!!! I own a copy, it's priceless. And the way the guy in the girl's body treats the bf "Billy" is just hysterical. "What's your name again? Yeah, Billy, right. You got any money?" LOL! The she (he) peels out and almost runs him over with his own car. So ladylike! And the way she (he) walks, too funny. But it was the girl in the guy's body that rang all the bells for me...being expected to be macho when it just ain't happening, and all that. I don't think Rob Schneider gets enough credit for the acting job he did. He got all of it right.

I also liked "It's A Boy Girl Thing", though not as much as "The Hot Chick." Still, it was cute. I loved it when the girl, in his body, is trying to find all his classes, and she looks for her next room number and it's a shop class, and it's full of guys welding and stuff, and somebody calls out, "Yo, Woodster", and she just turns on her heel and hurries away from the horror of it all. Ha! I lived that! I had to take shop class and I hated every second of it! Gawd, talk about being in the wrong life. Good grief. This movie also has a quiz, "Are you more boy or girl?" in the special features. I tested out as a total girly girl, thank you very much!

I also liked "13 Going On 30" when she is trying to get used to having boobs and stuff, and she's trying to get clues from people around her as to what's expected of her and all. It SO reminded me of my early days of transitioning, when my body was "new" and I really was basically this overage adolescent girl.

it isn't quite the same thing, but I loved "But I'm A Cheerleader" too, especially the scene where Rupaul is the boys' counselor (how perfect is that??) and he is making the gay boys fix cars and play football and stuff and they are running into trees and everything and he threatens them to get with it or they have to watch sports all weekend, and they all groan. This topic reminds me of the proposition a male-bodied friend of mine made.  If it were possible, she would love nothing more than to trade bodies with me.  The biggest caveat I could think of is explaining *that* to my family (heck, makes being trans sound perfectly normal by comparison) and having to deal with graduating with a degree I have no interest in (unless I could also convince the university that I did indeed switch bodies and am not a crazy person).

Oh I'd be delighted to trade in for a smaller model, but I'm not sure anyone would want my body. 27, 6'1", in proportion, outwardly quite female appearing, B cup, slender limbs, sterile and shrunken by 2 1/2 years on HRT, voice capable of bass range, huge clown feet, astigmatism, 25 remaining teeth, and caffeine intolerance, how does that sound. Mmm I didn't think so. :D

Even still, having a body that's physically in between overall is much much better than being in one that's completely wrong.
