Title: I want to address this whole Internet place

To all who use this forum, I am a post-op mtf transgender and I want to tell you that I recently lost a dear friend of mine to suicide. She was also pre-op mtf TG. She talked about this forum and seemed to like it. I know that she had some sexual issues that I think stemmed from a need she felt to abuse herself in anyway she could. But I also know that she beleived help was here somewhere within this forum. Now, I know she had great difficulty in talking face to face about things and I think that was she she came here. Then all of a sudden she's super depressed. I tried to talk to her, I really really did, but sometimes with Diva you would get a better conversation from a brick wall. Then she said she was leaving state, gave all her stuff away and I do mean all of it. Even the things dearest to her including Penelope (her rabbit) then disappeared. I don't know where she got the gun but well, there is no need to go into that. So basically, if there are users of this forum that consider her a friend or whatever, well she us no longer with us.
This is a very very very sad time. I am having great difficulty in dealing with the loss. She was smart, had a college education, was pretty and she had a huge heart. I going to really really miss her.

This is one of the classic signs of suicide. We should all be on the lookout for our friends when they radically change behaviors.

I'm sorry for your loss and our loss as well. I'm not sure who you are talking about but
I'm sure she will be missed. Having been where your friend was I can tell you it is not a pleasant
place to be. I'm sure many of us have been there, probably more than once. But the thing we all
need to keep in mind when in that state is to get help and try to hold on one more day, one more
hour, one more minute and things will change for the better. And in my opinion this is not the place
to get that help if you are to that point.

No, such people should always be pointed at real people, in real time, who have the skills and ability to really help.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Ging. I didn't know Diva but losing one member hurts. I will pray for you and ask my friends to do the same. If you want you can pm me.
