Payette—What's in a name?
Plenty if you're a transgender woman at the center of a debate regarding the legality of a ticket issued by Payette-area police, listing her former male name.
Catherine Carlson said she does not believe she should have to pay a ticket for driving with a suspended license because that $841 ticket, issued in December 2007, lists her male name, Dan Carlson.
