Hi Cyndi ,
Welcome to our little family. Over 2089 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

Hiya y'all thanks for the kind words, (creeek slam) that was my closet door LOL OK a little more about me, I am a woman heart and soul but not the body :( I am as you might have guessed 45 I present male cause I have a very manly job and transitioning on the job, well, not gonna happen, I have a wife we have been married 20 years she knows but doesn't approve AT ALL so more closet time, I have 4 kids 2 of each and 5 grand kids 4 girls and 1 boy we live in rural Mississippi in the bible belt we literally have a church on every corner and a few corners have 2 and everyone belongs to at least one, couldn't tell by there actions.....
I have self medicated myself which is un advisable, I did get some decent breast growth, I was able to convince my wife it was idiopathic which we both know to mean for no reason, I hate deciving her.....
I am bisexual although I am not real comfortable presenting male and being with another man, I would much rather present female to be with a man. I have done both, absolutely prefeer the latter :)
Maybe more later

Welcome to Susan's, Cyndi!
Yea, self-medicating can be very dangerous. I didn't think hormones were much of a risk until my first blood tests showed my liver enzymes going way up, and for some reason my white blood cell count as well. And if you're prone to clotting, estrogen might be risky.
And from what I've seen around here over the years, HRT and transitioning is a slippery slope, lol. Once people start, they tend to just keep pushing a little more... and a little more... so just maybe start looking ahead to how you might come out, if it comes to that?
I'm glad you found us! I can't wait to hear more about you and your experiences!
And be sure to check out the Site Terms of Service and rules to live by (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.msg27408.html#msg27408) if you get a chance ;)

Well another mile stone has been reached, this may not seam like much for some but for me it's huge. I am able to shave again, I am clean shaven from my nose to my toes :) I'm just all giddy inside ;D
You see the wife is so totally against anything transexual but she liked a smooth groin and the little bit of hair that grew on my breast looked ridicules so I could shave there but not my legs or my arms, but yesterday outa nowhere she asked if I was still interested in saving everything, I pondered for a minute thinking maybe a trap but she told me she wanted to see me smooth again and left it at that, soooo I shaved ;D ;D
