Hi All, thank you for the congratulations. Wing Walker is doing fine she was able to move about in her bed and even had breakfast in her bed this morning. I am looking forward in moving back to the house, I don't do to well with hospitals, The staff are really nice folks. It's going on to thirty years since have been to Quebec and now it feels like I never left. Hospitals are hospitals, I just don't like the vibes at times.

Thank you all I can't thank you all enough as how Paula and I feel about  your congratulations. Paula is still some discomfort but she is able move about the house. Not ready to go dancing or anything for bit but I did show her how to do the R2D2 shuffle.

An update on Wing Walkers progress and a little computer time to keep me from getting brain rot. Or the squirrel in the cage of my mind needs airing out.

Yesterday I spent a most of the afternoon chatin with the other girls that have appeared over the last couple days. I like the staff, they are truly wonderful people, just had a bit of language barrier which kind of took the wind my of sails as far as having fluent conversation with them. But they are truly caring bunch of girls. Then of course I love our house comedian Alin to, what a neat person he is, and he knows how to treat a lady like a lady, an chante.

So last night happens to have been one of my night owl syndrome. Slept only about three hours and was bored laying in bed wide awake so I came down a 500am to mess around with the computer. There is only one nurse here now, and no coffee on yet, AAAaaaak!!! *Cindy pulls hair*. And that's about all there is for now.

Hi all. Well, wouldn't you know it. Haven't had a cold or the flew in four years I decide to come down with it here. Yuck the last two days I felt like I was going to die I was so sick. Wing Walker is doing fine, she's had the stent and the catheter taken out yesterday and she has been walking around and has begun dilation.

Last night sick or not, I decided to come down to have a chat with the two girls going next door for the surgery today, they would be in recovery now. We exchanged emails and I managed to share a few of my silly jokes and tell a couple of tall tales then it was off to bed with me. The head nurse came up and gave me some pills and tucked me in and in my famous little girls voice I said "good night mommy' When she turned to looks i wasn't holding my pet stuffy I call *critter* and I smiled. She smiled back, turned then left.

We will be leaving on Thursday at 11:40am to go back to Vancouver. That will be nice, spend some time on the telly with some friends.

Well that's it for this update. Maybe more later.

Well here do Wing Walker and I sit in the empty house. Feels kind of sad, like having family over for the holidies and then the empty silent house after they have gone. Well anyway Wing Walker and I have a lot of planing to do before we leave on Thursday.

This is the first day that I have been able to sit comfortably since I arrived home.  Five hours on a jet coming home was no fun but the pain pills sure helped!

This is my first night at the 'pooter since the surgery and I feel wonderful inside!  Sure, I'm sore but I'm back to sitting up and taking nourishment.  I can hardly wait to start cooking again, making food just like I had at the "Healing House," simple but tasty.

Thank you, Simone!  When I was in the recovery room I asked Dr. Brassard how things went and he said that it was "a breeze." I pray that the "breeze" continues.

I feel somewhat sore and pretty tired but happier than I can tell you.

Hi, Kate!  Thank youi for your kind words and congrats.

On Wednesday, November 5, I was wheeled back to the place I call the "Healing House" where I was surrounded by a legion of angels who cared for me and taught me to care for myself.  Everyone was deeply concerned with my comfort and recovery.

The meals were simple and delicious and I have lost 20 pounds.  You can bet that I'll be cooking like they did at the Healing House.

Dr. Brassard started a great hospital but it is all of the angels who support it and make recovery so much easier.

I was pretty much out-of-touch for a few days, so much so that I didn't see the election results until Friday!

LMAO, Cyndi!  Momma is OK.  "Labor" was 3-1/2 hours or so, including the recovery room.  Weight is classified, length is zero.  All digits are present and working well.
