So, about a month or so ago I bought this sheer shirt/jacket/thing at the local Goodwill.

I have no idea how to wear it.

Should I wear it over a short-sleeved, long-sleeved, or sleeveless shirt?

Until recently, my wardrobe has been strictly utilitarian. I'm starting to branch out now (more color, different styles). I'm pretty good and color combinations. But, I'm not sure under what cirmcumstances I'd wear this thing? Casual? Business casual? Clubbing?

It is really cute. :) As far as when, formal or clubbing. Or when you are feeling particularly naughty. And for what I would say a sleeveless top.

I don't want to know what you paid for it, because if you got it from Goodwill, I am jealous already.

It was one of the more expensive things I've bought at Goodwill. I paid $11 for it.

As for what to wear under it, I'd recommend a tank top or a cami. I don't think it would work over a long- or short-sleeved shirt -- unless, perhaps, that jacket is very loose. You could also try it over a dress, preferably sleeveless or strapless, as a coverup.

Or if you're feeling naughty -- and/or want to get noticed -- just wear a bra under it! Or a corset.

But really, try it and see what you think.

As for where to wear it, I doubt it would work for "business," casual or otherwise. But that really depends on your business, of course. Might work for casual, depending on what else you wore with it. Formal or clubbing sounds like a good bet.

And if it doesn't seem appropriate for the crowd you're with, you can always take it off.

Since I don't work at Good Vibrations, I guess I won't be wearing it to work.
