I've been lurking long enough now... Well, a little over 1 year...
I feel as though I already know all the "regulars" (from all the lurking), so it's about time I introduce myself.
I consider myself a "transgenderist", possibly androgyne... But I'm keeping my options open... I hate "labels"...
I've been 39 years young - for the past few years... ;) Very happily married (very supportive wife of 18 years), 2 awesome daughters.
We don't have a great infrastructure (in South Africa) for dealing with "gender deviants/GID"... Fortunately, my GP is an absolute doll and has taken me "under her wing" WRT HRT and practical counselling - I feel as though (through a conservative approach) I'm in good hands. [/]
Facial laser hair removal is approaching 1,5 years - Going well, except for the "platinum" ones... Facial electrolysis is almost unheard of here, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the balance of my beard...
Yes Tink, I HAVE read the "Site rules" and (probably all) links and resources... It's fair to say that Susan's place has had a profound influence on my "journey of self realisation", THANKS!
