The 50-minute-documentary, XX WHY, made by B.Manjula, chairperson of the Centre For Media And Cultural Studies, portrays the mental agony suffered by Sree Nandu, the 25-year-old female to male (F2M) transgender who had announced his transgender identity publicly.
''There is a trauma in his mind. Yet, he survives in this society fighting hard against all the problems he has undergone and is undergoing, because of the transgender status,'' Manjula said.
