Good Morning,

I am thinking about getting another tattoo however I want to have it on my arm and I have been tossing with the idea of getting a phalloplasty. I was just wondering what skin on which arm do they take it from? Is it only the left or the right? I already have a small star on my left arm and I dont which to have tattoos all over it if I go ahead with the surgery.

I would rather just get one arm with tattoos and the other forarm blank.

I'm not really sure, but the one pic I've seen so far was of the left arm.
It could also very well be that the surgeon will let you pick the arm, for instance when you are left-handed it would make more sense to use the right arm for the procedure.

By the way, what kind of tattoo are you thinking of getting?

Are you right or left handed? I heard they do it on the opposite of your best arm. So the left arm if you're right handed.

Damn! I am right handed. But I have that star tattoo on that wrist!

Im not quite sure yet. I think I will just go with having a tattoo on the upper arm and
shoulder just to be safe!

If you're getting forearm flap, it's generally done on the non-dominant arm.  Abdominal flap is increasingly more common, though.

That is what I want to have done if I have a phalloplasty however Im not sure that Dr Ralph
(UK) does that. I know that he does do, forearm flap.

i thought you couldn't get any sensation with abdominal flap.

phallo. but I aint sayin I'm gonna get it.  If I got the money maybe but I gotta save 4 it first.

yeh i have actually seen even beter ones....and u do have more sensation from the forearm....because they graft a main nerve from your arm that causes it to be way mo0re sensitive i am also leaning towards the phalloplast...

I think I will try the abdomnial flap.. but if not Ill go for the arm graft.. Would rather not though!

on a slightly different note

my forearms are absolutely covered in scars, I'm guessing this means a skin graft from there would be useless right?

Whatever you decide Jay, the worst that could happen is that you'll end with a tattooed penis.  Which is pretty cool.
