Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hi everyone  ;D I'm Dawni, 19 years old. Biologically female and have never felt comfortable with it. Over the past few months I've come to the decision that I would like to go through the transition after many years of confusion about my gender and sexuality. I have come out to all my friends, but not family, I have no idea how to approach that at all. I also don't have much of an idea about contacting a doctor to talk about what I'd like to do. Looking for guidance and people to talk to. So that's me in a nutshell!

from the looks of your post count you are a terrible lurker  :P

I think of lurking as hiding in plain sight.  Instead of running away and not being seen, you hide by standing right next to the person.  It works.
