I was going to put this in the introductions section, but somehow it just seemed way ... morbid, so nah. My attention craving self will get more hits here anyway! ;D
So it's been over six months now since I came home from the UK, and I'm still looking for work ... only I've not been, not the last while anyway. As the rejections and worse kept rolling in, I got more and more inclined to just log on and clutch out for a while, which meant even fewer hits on the jobsearch, which meant more clutching out ... you get the idea. It has to stop. It's like, when I was in the UK, my transition was motoring along at a massive pace, and then back in ZA, and it's come to a screeching halt. I dutifully take my HRT, I pass okay and stuff, but I'm letting everything happen to me at the moment, and that's no way to make a success of anything.
So yeah, I'm gonna be saying goodbye for a while and try and get on with Real Life for a while. Thank you all for your support, your advice, your cheerleading and just your friendship. Almost a year to the day since I joined, and seriously, I don't know if I'd have survived it if not for the people I met here.
