Title: Please help: Resources in Sacramento?
Post by: Luc on December 22, 2008, 06:44:25 PM
Well, the wife and I just moved to Sac-town, found a nice place to live and all, but we can't find ANY trans resources here. I know there are a couple people on here that live in Sac... help, please? The LGBT center here has trans meetings every Sunday, supposedly. I say supposedly because we hit it up one Sunday, and there was a Narcotics Anonymous meeting going on, and no one knew anything about the ts meet. I desperately need a dr to prescribe T, also, and have no idea who to go to. If anyone has some ideas, PLEASE post. Also, if anyone here in the area ever wants to go have coffee or other beverages with a couple of fairly normal ts folks, let us know. We know only 2 people in the city.

I know Sacto has some resources, thought I bet most of them are in the Bay Area, which you exist on the fringe of.  One of the best TS therapists is in San Rafael, the City has some, and Oakland too.

Second Seeing Dr. Vitale in San Rafael,  Only saw her once for my second SRS letter, but she's good.  I'll be starting a new job Jan 5th and will be in Sac,wo weeks training at the home office. Drop me a line and I'll give you pointers on the Bay Therapists.
