I'm assuming we are talking about both anti-androgens and estrogen here.
Three months is a good benchmark for most people.
You may get some sensitivity towards the end of the first month or during the second month, but 'bumps' will normally appear in month three.
Of course, this will vary from person to person.

Well it could be awhile my dear cuz males shouldn't be growing breasts...
Are you transitioning?
Why dont you take some time to read the forum a llitle and perhaps introduce yourself
My Name is Nicole *bet you knew that* ;D
For me I noticed a *budding* you could say behind my.....well you know! after the first month
however everyone has thier own reaction so don't be surprised if you react differently.
Welcome to Susans!

One thing to keep in mind is that the variation between people is greater than the averages or any other measure. Patience is a virtue some days ;) As well, remember that in natal women the age of onset, growth patterns and speed vary a lot !! We aren't going to be any different. Once you start hormones it is hard not to want things to speed up and "get done"... but you still have to wait. Mother Nature has her own speed and plans for us !

I'm no expert on this, but I know the amount of breast growth that comes from hormone treatment can vary greatly from individual to individual-- just as it does in developing g-girls. The Tanner scale suggests a "normal" period for a girls development to be around 5 years (age 10-15), but I've know plenty of girls who did not fully develop until 18-19. Since hormone-induced breast growth in males supposedly mirrors that of the pubescent girl more or less, you could be talking as much as 8-9 years of breast growth.
I've certainly known of a number of trans ladies who had surgery after they thought their breasts had stopped growing only to find they gained a cup or so in size afterward. If gaining a size or so more than you wished doesn't sound appealing to you might want to wait at least 5 years.
