Hi. I've been lurking around here for quite a long time, so I guess it's about time I created an account and introduced myself. I'm a 20 year-old asexual FtM who always gets lost no matter what, so I guess it's no surprise that I'm messing up transition too.
I just got my name changed from an uber-feminine one to a masculine one, and I will be seeing a therapist next month. I have been passing as male off and on since I was 9. I hang out with a group of friends where between us all, we have just about every gender identity and sexual orientation covered. I plan on starting hormones as soon as possible (my voice is the most telling thing about me), and leaving the whole coming out thing for last. (Trust me, I would be very surprised if anyone-my mother, who I live with most of the time-noticed all that much. You'd be amazed at what people will ignore even though it's right under their noses.)
My main interests are: video games, animals, and books. Don't ask what pets I have unless you're willing to hear the entire list.
This is a great community, and I'll probably read a lot on it but post very little.
Now, back to lurking! :icon_suspicious:

Hi Amur, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 1490 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:
And I join Leiandra, What pets have you?
Janet

I pity Sasha. She must get beat up all the time by the cats.

Actually, Sasha loves the cats. She adopted Velcro when we rescued him, and most of the others curl up with her at night. Fen's the one everyone has a problem with, since he is such a large puppy with a tendancy to chase cats. Velcro's the only one that'll go near him. (They both have identity issues. 9 lb cat thinks he's a medium/large dog; 60+ lb large dog thinks he's a lap dog/human.)

Aren't all dogs lap dogs, regardless of size? :o And any large cat is part dog anyway. :icon_cool:

Quote from: Janet Lynn on January 15, 2009, 06:29:17 PMI'm pretty sure that the cat just completely imprinted on the dog 'cause he was so young. He'll even steal their toys/bones and drag them around the house. Trust me, if you've ever seen a small cat tryng to eat a bone sized for a german shepherd, you'd know that the cat has some problems.

And having a 60-some pound weight do a cannonball into your chest where these stupid lumps of flesh are really hurts. :icon_blah: Of course, a paw to the crotch immediately follows. That's probably the only time I'm ever glad there's nothing down there.
