But Wimmer appears to have listened to concerns raised by LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) advocates who say that forcing a person living as a woman to carry a driver license marked "M," means that person could be outed as transgender at every bank application and job interview.

Wimmer says he is shelving his HB225 for at least a year to try to resolve "unintended consequences."
