I have been here before, but havent been here for a while cuz I was committed for mental instability. I had a friend kill herself and that sent me down a very scary and dengerous path. However, I will say that I am doing much much better now and have found a more positive perspective on life as I know it....

I am trying to maintain this perspective now that I am out, and fear nothing more than slipping back into the abyss..

I am glad that you are doing well.  I am also trying to deal with an attempted suicide by my wife.  It is a lonely road sometimes.  I have found that this forum is someplace that I can really say what I am feeling and not have to worry about being judged by others.  It helps me a lot and I hope that it can help you as well.  Hang in there because life is tough sometimes but the sun always comes up the next day and you have another opportunity to do what is right for you.  Big hugs from me and welcome. :)

Hi Hon wlecome back. I understand how you must feel, suicide is never painless, someone always suffers. I been down that road several times and hope never to travel it again. One thing that has helped is the abilty to come to places like this and talk about it. That was a mistake I had always made before, not talking and holding it all inside. Keep a goal in mind and dont let yourself lose sight of it. I know this sounds really cheesey but tomorrow is another day, no matter what your problems are, if just get through that day, who knows what the morrow will bring you. Hugs
