Title: Just So Lonely
Post by: Christine01803 on February 08, 2009, 01:05:17 PM
Just a quick rant.  I have never felt lonelier than I do right now.  The only person who knows everything about me has left me.  I am surrounded by my three kids who I could never burden with this and I am still lonely.  My soon to be ex-wife knew everything about me but I quess it just got to be to much and she flew the coop.  I feel like I have nowhere else to turn and the burdens on me are getting to be to much.  I yell at the kids for nothing and then apologize profusely and they all tell me they know I am under a lot of pressure since mom left but that doesn't really help.  I know that we will make it and overcome my current funk but I just wish it would happen soon. I also know that someday I will meet someone so that I am not so lonely it is just that right now there is nobody and sometimes the aloneness really stinks. Oh well thanks for reading just putting it into words helps sometimes.

This is as good as any place to rant, Christine. A lot of us have been where you are and that's why we're all here. Feel free to bounce your thoughts off of us, it may help you sort things out.

You poor thing, that sounds really horrible. :'( Are any of your children old enough to understand your situation if you did tell them? If they're old enough to understand that you're under a lot of pressure, and mature enough to tell you so when they've been shouted at (most young children I know wouldn't be that mature, hence my question), then maybe telling one of them might help a little bit? :-\ I don't know, sometimes kids can be a great help.

Either way, there are always plenty of cyber-shoulders here if/when you need them. And hugs. :icon_love:

I hope everything gets better really soon, Christine.

It's not a great place to be  right now but you said it yourself "someday you'll meet some body" and all the lonliness will be gone and your life will be filled with a new love and isn't new found love so exciting.
Best wishes honey.

You can see this through ... really.

Think of it as analogous to SRS.  Painful?  Yes.  Difficult?  Yes.  Worth it?

YES!

Tomorrow is another day.  You CAN and WILL make it to a brighter tomorrow.  Hugs, Hun!
