Title: I sent an e-mail into the electronic ether . . .

I sent an e-mail into the electronic ether
Telling who I truly am.
I waited. Day one, day two.
What would be the answer?
Love? Hate? Indifference?
I saw the reply was there, sequestered among the spam.
I was at work and I couldn't dare,
Either way, tears would come, I knew.
I thought, I wondered, I dreamed.
Not much more work done that day.
I read the reply at home with my heart laid bare.
The young man had received and answered,
"Dad, I am proud of you, you have
My support all the way."
My tears were encumbered with joy.
Telling who I truly am.

YEA! Waiting for a reponse, whether in person or the electronic ether, is hard! I'm glad thrilled your friend son supports you!
May I ask how old is he?

you must divulge
the details of your
precious news.
You can't leave us hanging

You must squelch our

Dayam! Helen, this is absolutely wonderful. The hardest people to tell are your family. It is the family that has the worst time accepting. This news gives me a huge warm fuzzie.

You are truly blessed with a loving son.
The TS trail leaves so may people with broke family realtionships.
It's great to read a happy ending (no beginning).
I'm so happy for you Helen. :icon_biggrin:
