Title: update on "botched" top surgery
Post by: Benjamin on February 26, 2009, 08:53:51 AM
Hey everyone,

Thanks again for your support.  I just wanted to update you that, as my chest settles down, I'm gradually more optimistic that things may turn out OK in the end.

There's still no question whatsoever revisions are needed.  No amount of healing will fix some of the "leftover stuff."  But my surgeon and I had a good discussion about his approach to the revisions.  And I agree with the plan.  Sounds sensible.

In the meantime, resuming weight training (after taking off 4-5 weeks post-surgery) is helping to at least make my chest look OK underneath most shirts -- without needing to wrap my chest.  Progress.

Ben

I'm glad you are feeling more optomistic.

I'm hoping you get a good result in the end.

Glad to hear that things are getting better... none of us should have to bind after surgery!
