A friend came over the other day. She sat down to look at our computer. The 'force' is with her when it comes to computers. After looking at things she said "You have a lot of programs that are trying to load junk on to your hard drive. It's slowing down your computer." Then she went about the task of manually deleting them. And the computer ran faster.
As the reality of having GRS in a few weeks sinks in I've found my hard drive (the mind) has been running better. Then I realized I've been clearing out the background programs that have been trying to stop me from completing my transition. All those little programs loaded into the hard drive of the mind over the years by family, friends and society (hackers) that were working in the background inserting data designed to keep me right where they wanted me to be.
Thankfully I had other programs that were installed before I was born, fighting these insidious programs off. But the CPU was being overloaded, memory was used up and the hard drive was so filled with junk that doing everyday tasks was a chore.
I'm sitting there the other day watching the Science Channel. They are discussing Einstein's theories of general and specific relativity. I see a contradiction in the two and suddenly I'm finding myself challenging Einstein. HUH?
As March 23 (GRS) approaches I'm finding myself filled with joy. After fighting this for almost 58 years I've finally taken the bull by the horns and decided to ignore all those programs that were designed to stop me from even thinking about transitioning. And now my mind is clear, the hard drive purged of all the junk. And I'm so damned happy I could just scream! I even have the brain power to challenge Einstein! :D
I think those background programs we've all had installed by hackers bogs each and every one of us down. As our operating system and naturally installed programs fight them off, the computer we know as the mind becomes overloaded. Not until we delete the spam, adware, viruses and other programs bogging down the mind will we be able to function to the maximum of our capabilities.
The most powerful computer on the planet, our brain, can handle a lot but it works so much better when it isn't being attacked by hackers' programs. Clean out the hard drive. Install a firewall and a good virus program and pretty soon your computer will be running like a well oiled machine.
Now I have to have a talk with all those scientists about this speed of light stuff and straighten them out. ;D

I'll bet most of you thought my challenging Einstein's theories was a joke but nothing could be further from the truth. My fiance walks in the room on a few occasions as I'm watching various shows on Einstein and I jump up and explain the contradictions to her. She just looks at me and smiles. She later tells me my brain has been going full speed lately and maybe I need to find something else to keep it busy other than finding flaws in Einstein's theories.
Then I realize how clear my thinking has been lately. I don't have all that junk rolling around in my head and that has resulted in freeing up my mind to focus on something other than the never ending resistance the outside world batters me with constantly.
That's when I thought of the analogy. We are programmed in a way that society (the hackers) want us to function. But our operating system wasn't designed to work with these programs. We're running Linux and society is still stuck in Windows 3.1. The our Linux operating system and their Windows programs are in conflict and that causes a never ending loop that consumes CPU power, loads up our hard drive with useless junk and ties up memory in this endless battle between who we are and what everyone wants us to be.
One day we find ourselves sitting on the couch, comatose, unable to do anything other than basic survival practices. Our Linux system can't run their Windows programs and we haven't installed a watchdog program to identify the problem. The computer is overtaxed and unless we do something we'll suffer a severe system failure.
It may sound strange but I truly believe ridding myself of everyone else's junk has cleared my mind and allowed me to see better, think better, react better and just overall function better.
All along I thought it was me battling me but now I know I was battling the conditioning (programming) that started back before I was even old enough to know what was happening. That made me think what I was experiencing was normal and that's why I missed it for all those years. Now I know better.

Julie, you are a constant source of amazement to me, hon!
I have seen you bounce back every single time the world has knocked the crap out of you. And every time you come back stronger!
Your analogy is dead on. So much of my "brain-space" was occupied in that endless loop of:
"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"-"I'm a girl"-"I'm a guy"-"I'm a pervert"
I'm surprised that I managed to accomplish anything at all! Now that mind and body are in harmony, my mind is as calm as a morning lake. Truly amazing.
Also, if you want to really head down the rabbit hole, start with "Star Wave" by Dr. Fred Allen Wolf. He give a remarkably readable history of physics from Zeno's paradox all the way to the Copenhagen Interpretation. But that is just the background. He goes on to talk about all the weirdness that happens at the quantum level and what it means to every day life. He goes on to discuss the way general and special relativity cannot apply at the quantum level and thus the great debate about what reality really is. Basically it doesn't exist.
There are other books along the same line, such as the Tao of Physics and the Dancing Wu-Li Masters, that formed the basis of my rather eclectic spirituality.
If we can get together before you head off for your trip up north (congrats!), I'd love to discuss it with you.

Just imagine if everybody thought of their minds this way, and decided to take FULL and ACTIVE control of what goes through it.

How to use your lightworker creation abilities like a real Master Creator.
YES, ANYONE CAN BE A MASTER CREATOR!
By Reuben McNew
The simplest approach that anyone can use to manifest anything in reality is the following three step process:
1. TO ENVISION
2. TO BELIEVE
3. TO RECEIVE
However, while manifesting anything you want in reality really is this simple, many people fail at the process on account of not understanding certain laws; those laws being specific metaphysical laws that the universe follows, obeys and can be operated by anyone who has knowledge of these laws. Often people actually use many of these laws unknowingly, therefore creating or not creating certain accidentally intended or unintended manifestations that appear to be random occurrences. However, to the trained eye one can implement the appropriate applications of these laws and use them appropriately to obtain specific predetermined things, to obtain a desired goal, object, action, or instance previously held in mind and imagined. While some people may be tempted to think that these things are magical occurrences, and indeed they could be considered that, IMHO it may be more accurate to say that they simply help one to focus his intentions and to obtain a decent degree of predictability in life, therefore recognizing chance to be a mere illusion.
To help the reader understand each law as it relates to the initial three steps, let us discuss each step in detail as it relates to the specific metaphysical laws.
1. TO ENVISION
First, let us talk about what it means to envision. To envision something is to hold a certain thought in ones mind, that thought being the exact image of what it is one would like to manifest into a physical state. It is the end goal and the thing one wants to obtain for his or her self. Several metaphysical laws are initially used during this instance:
1. The Law of Thought
2. The Law of Mentalism
3. The Law of Subconscious Mind
In the initial process, the most important law is usually the law of thought. The law of thought states that an entity is energized proportionally to the amount of focus one places upon it in his conscious mind. This means that a person must be very careful in what he or she must think, choosing only thoughts that relay information exactly upon what it is one person wishes to manifest. Next plays the law of the subconscious. The subconscious is responsible for turning the images held in ones mind into physical reality. It understands negations as non-negations and it holds anything perceived and held in ones mind as actual truth. Next and last is the law of mentalism, which states the purpose of the 'All,' the all consuming thought substance connecting everyone and everything.
2. TO BELIEVE
To believe in the process is to have faith that you have already received that which it is that you desire. To not only believe that it is on its way and coming, but to associate positive feelings and appropriate sensory information appropriate to the object you must attract.
4. The Law of Vacuum
5. The Law of Germination
6. The Law of Vibration
7. The Law of Attraction
The first and probably most important law here is the law of vacuum. [The law of vacuum states that you must make room for what you want by removing what you do not want.]* Next is the law of germination. The law of germination states that in order to manifest something, a seed must be planted. The seed is the initial thought as it passes to the unconscious, the subconscious makes it sprout, the laws of vibration and attraction water it, and eventually there is a harvest. The law of vibration play very important roles in this stage as that it becomes necessary to continually focus intent, maintaining vibrations to attract a thing through the 'like attracts like' aspect of the law of attraction.
3. TO RECEIVE
The last step is to receive, and you must receive graciously. Thank the universe or any other entities you have called to help you obtain your gift and be sure to note any and all signs that the universe is shifting things in a favorable way; this encourages it to work faster to gather the supplies it needs to manifest what you would like and is more eager to give it to you.
------------------------------------------------------
General Tips about the way the universe works:
- If you pay very close attention to the universe, you can see and feel its subtle changes once you have made an accurate attempt to manifest something.
- The Universe tends to bring people and situations to you ... sometimes you must take opportunities when they come or what you want the universe to give you may not manifest.
- The Universe changes things, but it also changes you. Many people make the mistake of not wanting to allow the universe to change them or their surrounding and as a result they do not manifest what they want. Go with the universes flow.
- Affirmations are good to enter emotional states, but the universe understands pictures best.
- Do not ever use negations when using affirmations, the universe just hears the thing you do not want and that is what it tries to give to you. Example: "I will not be late" is heard as "I will be late." The universe will try to make you late!
------------------------------------------------------
The Law of Mentalism
The law of mentalism states that every mind is a part of a thinking substance called 'the All,' which shapes reality according to thoughts held in the minds of all individual collectively, without differentiation and with no partiality to individuality.
The Law of Polarity
The law of polarity states that every 'something' in the universe is one degree of a higher or lower magnitude of a set of two polar opposites, which are differing opposite degrees of the same set. For example, the polarities of the set of temperature are hot and cold, hot being a polarity and cold being a polarity. Hot is a higher frequency than cold; cold is a lower frequency than hot. olarities can be used with affirmations as well. Example: "Money comes frequently and easily" or "money is hard and laborious."
The Law of Germination
The law of germination states every planted seed must be given due time to germinate and sprout before it can be harvested, the seed being the continued flux and nurturing of a specific thought pattern as it is implanted into the subconscious from the conscious mind, the sprouting being the necessary changes in the nature of the universe, and the harvest being the physical manifestation matching the continued vibrating thought patterns of ones mind while the seed is sprouting.
The Law of Rhythm
The law of rhythm states that there is a to and fro swinging motion consisting of times and seasons, which causes a consistent change of degree in the polarity of a 'something' in the universe to a higher or lesser degree, depending upon whether the swinging is towards a higher or lower pole or vibration.
The Law of Vibration
The law of vibration states that physical reality consists of various frequencies of spinning light particles, some light particles spinning faster and slower than other light particles creating noticeable classes of spinning light particles. An entity that spins at any pace is considered to be vibrating.
The Law of Vacuum
The law of vacuum states that any lingering energy leaving a system will either increase the lower energy level in that system or attract a new energy to that system from another location. The lingering energy is often considered out-dated or useless energy.
The Law of Attraction
The law of attraction states that 'like attracts like,' entities of a similar or same vibration frequency flock together and stick together.
The Law of Thought
The Law of thought states that any entity by which a thought process has continually focused upon will be energized and strengthened by that focus.
The Law of Gender
The law of gender states that gender is manifested in everything.
The Law of the Subconscious Mind
The law of the subconscious mind states that there is a part of the mind of man called the subconscious, by which after receiving data from the conscious mind 'as it is' considers that data to be an important make-up of reality and therefore will change the rate of vibration of an entity to meet that reality.

@ Lovingkindess. You could have said, "Go read The Secret." Subjective realism and whatnot.
While subjective realism is an interesting take on reality, certain parts of which I subscribe to, I think that becoming overly-nuanced into the details takes on too much of a religious character. There's a lot of non-sensical language, and suggestions/claims about Laws and the Universe that are subjective by their nature and therefore unverifiable.
If subjective realists were able to communicate their ideas to non-converts a little bit better, I think they'd have a lot more success rather than getting stuck in their own heads.
P.S. the biggest problem I have with subjective realism is the idea that people can gain superpowers by just believing in them. In my experience, the "universe" does have a set of rules that hold, and my beliefs about them will not change the moment-to-moment experiences I have in an objective sense. However, it is possible for individuals to take on empowering beliefs and therefore subjectively change their experience of reality. For example, changing one's outwardly-appearing gender can allow a person to lead a life more congruent with their inner feelings, thereby validating one's internal perception of their gender and clearing up the "crap from the hard drive". In the language of subjective realism, this means that an individual creates the intention to transition, thereby receiving whatever psychological benefits they believe will come from the process.
