Why does saving money up have to be so damned hard? I'm trying to save up money to go up and visit my by in August in Canada, and we're planning on getting married while I'm up there (YAY!) but this saving up money is proving to be so much harder than expected. I was hoping to be able to put aside $30/week and even that is proving difficult! I'm ready to scream, I need a $250 deposit for the place we want to get married at (he's paying the other $250 two weeks before), and between bills and other expenses, I'm having a hellacious time even getting that. Here's to hoping that I pick up more hours at work and that once I pick up this second job in April that it'll become easier to save! Otherwise, I might be bald from pulling my hair out by the time I get to Canada lol

I understand. same issue myself. This last month I ended up having to dip into savings. and this coming month is not looking good either. After bills and putting aside 26 dollars into savings only have 36 a week. bleh and job search not going well.

Same problem, but I'm just bad with money.
I don't really get the concept of seeing something I want and not buying it. :p
