Title: Natural lubrication

I have a question and I really don't know where to find the answer, yet. Now, I'm a little slow in the sex dept. as I have not had any sex with anyone and it has been 5 years. I do masturbate on occasion, along with my dilations. Today, I tried something new and I had some lubrication come out of my body. I really don't think it came out of my vagina and so the only other place would be my urethra. It felt like the same stuff that came out of me when I had a penis. There is always some lube stuff that comes out before you have sex. I was just wondering would that be the same stuff that comes from your prostate gland? Don't laugh, I'm not all that worried about it but was curious.

It's a little bit prostate fluid and a little bit from the bulbourethral gland (aka Cowper's gland)
(EDIT: I'm assuming that the bulbourethral gland is kept, as I'm not aware of a surgery technique that removes it)

I have heard of that happening to other transwomen.

Additionally, postop transwomen to a greater or lesser extent have their neovaginal walls turn into mucosal tissue, though it seems to be a bit of a crapshoot, as some few women can get pretty wet while for most it's just a bit of moistness.
=K
P.S., It usually takes two or three years after SRS for the tissue to turn mucosal. And its gradual. So it's not like an instant benefit.

*peaks in*
Ya know, this sounds a lot like "female ejaculation." There are some genetic girls who have a similar experience as you with liquid coming out of their urethra. It's rare, but it does happen.
It's probably not the same thing but erm yeah...

Thank you Flan. I did find some interesting information.
Cowper's gland and sex reassignment, an interesting fact:
During sex reassignment surgery (male to female), doctors leave the Cowper's gland intact so that there is some secretion during arousal. The amount of secretion in these circumstances, however, tends not to be enough to lubricate the new vagina in preparation for sexual intercourse. So, remember to use water-based lubricants.

It happens to me and although I haven't slept with a guy it seems to produce a lot of wetness. I have had a lot come out after an orgasm -- I looked in the mirror to figure out where it's coming from, and it's coming from my vagina and not my urethra. *shrugs* I don't know if it happens to other people that way, but it seems to work that way for me. I also have to be in the mood, of course, 'cause if I were to just stick a dialator in with no lube it wouldn't work as smoothly 'cause i'm not in the mood.
As for natal women, the amount of lube can also depend person to person. I had a gf once who had to use lube 'cause she didn't produce enough no matter what.

What happens to you is very similar to my case. It definitely depends on my mood and how excited I am? Sometimes when I have orgasm, I can get a lot of juice, very sticky, but I don't know where exactly it comes from. My partners are often very impressed by how wet I get... but I've never got this from penetrative sex, and for penetration I still need lub. When I masturbate myself, if I reach the orgasm, I can also get some juice, but normally that's less than when I'm with a partner. It happened a few times, when my partner gave me an oral, once I reached the orgasm, I squeezed the juice out, and all my partners loved that and got so excited by that... and they said it tasted so good... and they think I'm just a gg. That's it.
Btw, today I'm exact 2 years post-op!

The swelling was all gone 3 weeks after the surgery and began getting orgasms on the fourth week. I began lubricating from the urethra and vaginal area after three months. I do get some wetness during orgasm but not a lot but more then I use to before the surgery. Four years later and I'm still a virgin though. "Geeeeeeee!" *Cindy blushes,* I almost feel like I'm making out my grocery list in the middle of a crowd of people in a parking lot. Yea, hmmm lets see, and yea, the Tampax pads and four cans of soup. "Oh" get some cheese, butter, baloney, and bread, and stop at Tim Horton's for a coffee, and a diner roll, errrr the pad goes in the bag along with the other none edibles. Then I can make a sandwich and have lunch on the way home. :icon_mrgreen:
Have a lovely night girls.

I am almost 2 years Post -op now. I do not need to use any k-y except for on rare ocasions. I do naturaly lubricate if I am with a man. You have to just get into the foreplay for things to start flowing. Once he has his first one out of the way all of the rest will be wet.
