Title: Monkey Mayhem, part duex

The second case of a monkey killing a human inside of a month. And this one, well, you're rooting for the monkey if your like me - something very Monty Python about this.
A monkey who was forced to climb palm trees by his owner took revenge by killing him with a coconut.

Your honour, this is clearly a case of innocence by reason of temporary insanity. Mr. Kwan was obviously under extreme duress, living a slave's life, and clearly he just snapped, and in a moment of rage, threw off the shackles of oppression. Mr. Kwan is a victim your honour, not a murderer. If anything, he's a hero.
I'm really sorry to make light of a man's death, but this is absolutely poetic justice to me. I hope Brother Kwan escaped.
Mina.

I'm sure Mr. Kwan is quite innocent. He was probably thinking...."You want a coconut? Well here ya go. Enjoy that one." Boink!!!

The Ape revolution is beginning. I'm on their side. Not because they have better natures than we do, which I don't believe anyway, but because once they put us down, there will be no more strip mining, automobiles, or factories pouring chemicals into the ground water.

I'm sure it was an accident. It's not the monkeys fault the guy couldn't catch. Use your hands not your head dumb***! Or maybe they are finally going to take over the planet. Where's Charleston Heston when we need him?

Bad how? Little karma running loose there? Good for the monkey. Last year some teenagers were taunting a tiger at the SF Zoo. It got loose. Killed one of them. That tiger rocks.

Question:
Should we root for the human or should we root for the antagonized animal in these cases?
I feel that whoever acted like a jerk first, should get what's coming to them. So, if a dog bites a little kid, it deserves to be kicked and if a human kicks a dog (for no reason), they deserve to be bitten.

Because of my love for animals, I would have to root for them. No-one should be antagonized

FYI In 1977 myself and another sailor went to JOTC Ft. Sherman Pna. That's Jungle Ops training center in Panama. Rule numero uno: "Don't F with a monkey!" A 45 pound monkey can kill a full grown man. Even Chuck Norris. Rule numero dos: Try not to step on a crocodile. Common mistake.

*signs "Give me a f***ing banana!"*
That's what happened! He wasn't given enough bananas. :P
That's hilarious though that they put such an epic spin on the story. Honestly, people have been killed by falling coconuts long before this. A monkey doesn't need to throw them, they're just lethal at that velocity.

You know, I'm reserving judgment on this till I hear the apes side of the story. I mean, I've never met the women in question, could be, ya know - maybe the monkey was right.

You'll never hear the ape's side. He was shot down by The Man.
