Many women have shoes for all types of occasions. Different colors are important and matching purse. Also, the guys may need a number of pairs for different activities. Some buy more only because, because!

Right now I have 3, with 2 more in the mail, but two of the original 3 are man-shoes :P. I'll probably end up with like 6-8, but they're expensive.

I would buy any pair of shoes that fit my size: Gunboat 12 w-i-d-e
I figured I'd find an occasion to use them. I have so far!

What exactly does the gunboat part mean?

Quote from: Vesper on March 16, 2009, 09:10:34 AMSorry, a bit of a yank colloquialism. Refers to the shoe being the size of a boat. A gunboat was a small armed runabout used primarily in the Vietnam war.

My shoe size is (US) womens size 12 wide.
Most stores don't carry my size at all and I have to buy online.

Wow! My assumption was correct. I'm not the only one with the syndrome. For those with larger feet try. Leslie shoes. There are sizes to 15 and wide sizes also. Many uder $40.00. Some for less. I sometimes find 11w and 12 at Payless.

I have 4, but give me time, I am just getting started on transition.
2 pair of walkers (work and normal use), 1 pair sandals, 1 for riding bikes/dirty jobs)
I can't imagine owning 20 though. I have trouble even seeing a need for 10, at least for me personally, but who knows, give it some time and they may add up.

Oh dear
I have two pair of boy shoes and a lot of girl shoes. Some I've never worn. Someone keeps buying them and planting them on me. I think it must be the secret TG police. They've now started to do it with handbags. I've noticed my earing collection has been spiked. And something more damning - someone has been using my credit card.
Who do I report this to? TG :police:?

I honestly don't know how many shoes I have..
But I choose 1-5 because I only ever wear 1 pair of shoes.. a pair of black leather sneakers that have served me well for a year.. I think I'll clean 'em and grease 'em up for the spring.
The other pairs of shoes I have are a random assortment of women's boots I've been given. Size 42.. I'll dig 'em out, and give 'em to ya girls if you want 'em :P

CindyJames, Bunny oufit. I got a visual on that one. You are a very attractive lady. You would look cute in a bunny suit. I would like to see your fuzzy tail. The question of what to nibble on, I have a suggestion and there's another forum for that.

I wear women's 11 wide. Yes, stores stock that size but the selection is limited.
I have:
My similarity to Imelda Marcos is only with earrings.
I have about 30 pairs and I'm a sucker for anything under $2.00.
I have:
- White sneakers (that I wear 95% of the time)
- Dress black flats
- Flip-flop sandals (the $20 kind)
- Bathrooom slippers

I think I will never escape this syndrome, Currently I have well over 20 pair of winter shoes alone not counting workout shoes about 5 pair of those, and about 10 pair of summer shoes.
Now shifting to mens footwear I have about 5 pair of workout shoes (same as above), 2 pair of misc shoes and a pair of boots. I have a hard time buying mens shoes as I am a size 7.5 and am also thinking if my feet grow at all on T that will really help! Tried on a great pair today but the smallest size they come in is 8.

Lol you guys are crazy. I have one pair of sneakers, a pair of flipflops which I absolutely love, and a pair of dress shoes. (I don't get dressed up that often :P
I've never understood the shoe fanatacism. Now. Hoodies on the other hand? (And yes, I'm sure I'm 100% female :P )

I only own 1 hoody, and I'm a guy for sure!
I can't see my love for shoes going away as I check the mens shoe department everytime I go to a store! Love Nordstroms shoes just need them to go on sale more frequently.

I've got 5 now, but they're all primarily untilitarian. There are at least 3 different other pairs I'd like to get my hands on (feet in?), 4 if you include colors.

over 20 here! I love shoes! ;D
I have 5 pair that I wear on a regular basis and then some that I have only worn once or twice.
to compare, I only have 2 pair of boy shoes and they are both about 10 years old, haha.

Good thing I like to shop.
Girly-girl style.
Differnet outfit=differnt pair of shoes.
Some dresses seem to match best with their shoe twin.
Also different times of day, work or evening, require a change in pedattire.
I love being a girl.
On 5 (inc guys/unisex)... working towards 20+.
