Title: swim suit questions
Post by: kody2011 on April 25, 2009, 02:50:32 PM
ok. so i went to the local "walmart", which is actually Alco, a mini version of walmart, and got a new swim suit. i don't want to go swimming as a girl. so i got a pair of guy swim shorts (baggy of course). i figure i can wear my binder with a white tank over it. hopefully i can pass. so that leads up to my question: i'm not on T but I've been growing out my leg hair. but, it's not quite like a guys length yet. so, should I leave it or shave it???? same with the under arms????

Leave it.

I say leave it too, both the legs and the under arms.

Also, have you considered maybe wearing a darker colour over the binder? White can have a tendency to become a bit see-through when it's wet, whereas a darker colour will help hide the binder better.

Either leave it or trim it [although I am not sure how that would work for leg hair]. Do not shave, that will mark you as female in two seconds.

Leave the hair. If you shave, somehow people notice.

And I agree with Flameboy that you should probably wear a darker shirt over it.

Leave the hair.
Heck, WHY shave when you don't HAVE to?!?  :D
Seriously!  Some hair is better than none.

Oh unless you're Asian. In which case you can get away with no leg hair if you have toned legs.

Sad but true....

I have left it a bit late to grow my leg hair for a summer holiday at times "en-homme", and ended up using semi-permanent hair colour on it to make it look thicker (I have light coloured body hair). Stains the skin a bit, but if you do it a week before, shower, and regularly use an exfoliator for a few days afterwards, any streaks disappear and it seems to help the tan too.  ;D
